This is very rare and hard to get... This material is from the Inspiration mine and was discovered in a pocket of gem grade material that was mined in the early 70's. This material was sold to me as being natural with no treatments of any kind. I cannot say absolutely that this is true (it could be Opticoned), but the person I bought these stones from is well known in the cabbing business and he cleaned the old style cutting up, the finish was pretty rough (these were cut by the mine foreman as a hobby, shortly after the pocket was mined), so I am taking his word for it (he told me it was natural). Even if this material is opticoned (I do not think it is...) it would still be rare and worth these prices... the colors, Malachite and Tinerite mixed in this material is gorgeous and the pictures really do not do the stones justice. The colors are much more intense and bright than I could capture in the photos, although they do give you a good idea of what these cabs look like.
