This cabs are landers Turquoise from the original pocket, there was not more than a 100 pounds of rough found. These are from a jeweler friend of mine and came back for sale through an estate.

This is a group shot of all of the cabs to give you an idea of scale. This is Landers Turquoise from the second pocket. It is usually called Landers county, and very rare, this was bought in the seventies (75-77) from the Landers family by a father of a friend of mine who was a major player in the Turquoise business in those days, he is retired now (his son, my friend is still in the business). The first pocket had black darker matrix and was really not as nice as this is, but what people probably think of... This is from the second find on the exact same site (about 75 yards away) and produced a few thousand carats. This material was always very hard to get (as you probably know) and it is rare to get these sizes.

This material is expensive... This is from the private (retirement collection) of Marvin Symes, one of the three original owners of the Landers mine. This is probably the most that will be available at one time, ever again, there is just not much. I picked out what I would call a typical range of color and matrix, I think that #1 & #3 are the best. This stuff is well cut and backed (the backing is not thick, in general), the color looks bluer and darker in person...
