This material is being called black Jade and for all practical purposes it is Jade. However, there is a very small chemical difference than traditional Jade, a couple of copper molecules. Some people might call it Jadeite. This material works very well and with no difficulty. It takes an easy and high gloss ploish. This is very nice material and it's not expensive.

Note: This material cuts absolutely black, no other color tones in the finished pieces.
