These pieces are typical of what the Ray (near Globe Arizona) mine produces... This material is really saturated in the deep blue range and has some parrot wing green. I did the best I could on the pictures, but this material needs to be seen to get the full impact of the color. There is some flake type of material along the outside edges, the hearts of these stones are all solid silica and will cut beautiful stones. Cabbing this type of matrial can be a challenge, there are some crystal inclusions and some definite grain that has to be delt with during the cabbing process...
